Manatee County is only as strong as its residents, and education is the key to success in all aspects of life. It is estimated that 60% of the jobs in 2030 will require a post-secondary credential. Today, less than half of adults in Manatee County have a college degree, license or industry-recognized certificate.

Our community boasts exceptional colleges and universities, nonprofit organizations, and foundations. We also need:

• A collective effort to coordinate local programs that advance education and career readiness
• Communications that leverage the ability for our educators, parents, community organizations, colleges, and School District to work together
• Connection to a state-wide movement in post-secondary education that increases our County’s assets to advocacy and resources
